Hey guys. We just arrived back in Chiangmai from our excursion in north Thailand. About 53 students arrived today from La Sierra University to help us finish the construction of a school on Pastor Phamor's land, so for the next week or so we will be stacking bricks.

Keep praying for us, and any Donations will be more than appreciated. We need money not only for our traveling but for the schools we are working with. A little goes a long way here. Thanks for keeping track of us, we have not forgot you guys. Have a good week and Happy Sabbath!

Beyotah School

I am writing you guys from a government school in a village called Beyotah, where my friend Ben has been teaching english for the past 2 months. The village is literally in the middle of nowhere. Many of the villagers have never seen a paved road before. Although it is a Thai school, the majority of the students are Karen. I was asked to teach English for 2 class periods, I agreed and discovered that I know have a lot more respect for my fellow teachers back home. The religious background is mainly Buddhism. In fact, a Major from the Thai military arrived yesterday, and today he has been teaching the school about the 8 fundamental virtues of Buddhism. Even though the school's curriculum is mainly eastern religions, EOP missions have donated several building to the campus, which provides us with virtually no resistance in sharing Christianity. -Robd

Just accross the river!

This is all the medicines that you will find in the clinic. They have a limited supply of what they do have, but items such as IV fluids and needles are hard to come by.
Here are a couple Maleria victims at the local clinic

Laykloyaw

These are pictures of an adventist school in southeast Asia. There are around 120 students that attend there, some dorm and others live in the near by villages. The kids loved us, the grades ranged from kingdergarden to 5th grade. Their classrooms are no more than bamboo huts.

Mela Camp

Hello from Mae Seraing, As of now, we headed back from a series of Karen refugee camps in north Thailand, It has been an incredible experience! The camp we spent the most time at (Mela Camp) is home to more than 80,000 refugees, the living conditions are extremely unsanitary and I will be posting pictures as soon as I have better internet access. We visited a series of Adventist schools that have been set up in part by EOP Missions, I have been asked to compile a short video for 3ABN, I will for sure send a copy to the Springtown church, so anyone who is reading this from springtown, you guys should hopefully see it in church sometime, anyone else who wants a copy, email me your mailing address to my southern address with your name and I will see what I can do. I will write more about our experiences at the schools when i put more pics up, until then God bless! and keep us in your prayers!

Training

So we are now somewhere around 2 weeks into the training and so far we are still standing. I could not tell you the date or what day it is or anything that is happen on the news. Its pretty crazy to be almost completely isolated from the world. I am most impressed with the training, we have been learning about how to give many types of massages, how to address all the different diseases with natural remedies and a group from the Aenon health facility in Malaysia has come for the last 2 weeks teaching us about the anotamy of the body.

Pictures

Here is just a taste of the many pictures Jorge and I have taken, we will keep posting more throughtout our trainning.
